Hardtopped Lotus / Jensen Healey powered spridget: ACH 556A

This car belongs to Neil in Scotland (a self-confessed modifier and Big Healey man), and is a 1962 Sprite reshelled into a 1500 body with extensive modifications, and sports a Sebring GT hardtop manufactured by Fibresports, along with a modified Ashley Mk I front. In Neil's own words:

"The hardtop went on today. The car has now done about 1500 miles, and is a hoot to drive.

The spec is as follows:

> Jensen Healey 2 litre twin cam engine with 45 Dellortos (approx 155 bhp)
> Lotus Eclat 5 speed gearbox
> Jensen Healey back axle
> Rear suspension 4 link with adjustable coil over dampers
> Front suspension frontline + 3/4 ARB
> brakes are grooved discs greenstuff pads
> Lotus instruments
> Ashley modified front and Fibresports Sebring GT roof

I am really enjoying my Scary Sprite. Just last week I was driving some nice roads, when I came up behind a slower car, which had an Impretza behind it. When a space appeared, the scooby passed and shot off. I would have loved to know what the Scooby driver was thinking as this wee Sprite sat right on his tail and couldnt be shaken off !! "
