Sebring GT Hardtop **NOW SOLD**

David Smith has just announced he is selling his Sebring GT hardtop which requires some repair work before it is servicable - however, this is a very rare opportunity to get your hands on one. It is currently listed on ebay under item 330249844914.

Oil Cooler Fitment

Photos of how to mount your oil cooler so that it fits inside the radiator duct for your Sebring GT front (avoiding the need to cut away the lower portion of the duct box, which is necessary if you mount it in the normal place) have been added to EOW 651D's page.

Ashley Fastback Hardtops

Thanks to Laurent Derancourt, Tom Coulthard and others for shedding further light on Ashley hardtops - there is a difference in the height of the side window glass of the sidescreen and roll-up window versions of the Ashley fastback hardtop, and the rear window glass is not (as previously believed by many in spridget circles) from an E-Type Jaguar, being some 6 inches too short.

New Sebring GT front found in Denmark

A previously unknown front has been located in Denmark - hopefully more news soon.

Spridget 50

This amazing event, with over 1,000 Sprites and Midgets in attendance at the National Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon, celebrated the the 50th birthday of the spridget. 6 cars from the Register were there including EOW 651D and LUE 620E, which parked together generated a lot of interest. They were joined by KRU 91F and WBT 393, along with HHV 481D and DVK 963K. In addition to meeting up with fellow owners and comparing notes (and stress cracks!), we took lots of photos. Having 6 cars there has hopefully helped to raise the profile of Williams & Pritchard and the Sebring GT body style further, and during the day we were made aware of a further two Sebring GT fronts and a Sebring GT hardtop which had been previously unknown to the Register.

Spitfire Register

Thanks to Sylvain G from France who got in touch about his Spitfire Williams & Pritchard Sebring GT hardtop - and has given us leads on three others in the UK.

New Cars on the Register:

WBT 393, a blue Mk I Sprite owned by John Keener, has been added to the Bonneted Spridget Register.

KRU 91F, a red Mk III Midget owned by Peter Tamblyn, has been added to the Bonneted Spridget Register.

Mark Dols' orange FISC series race Sprite from Holland, the third known complete Sebring GT bodied car in the world, has been added to the Sebring GT Spridget Register.

Hardtop Hinges

Thanks to Roger Dunbar, Elva expert, who has identified the hinges on the Sebring GT hardtop as coming from the MG Y Type. These have been re-manufactured and can be re-ordered from NTG Services Limited - contact us for more details.

Frogeye Ashley Hardtops

The "Oft Mistaken" page has had photos of the various Ashley Frogeye hardtops added to it.
