Sebring GT hardtop listed on ebay

A spridget Sebring GT hardtop is listed for sale on uk ebay, item170308690229, ending 15 March 2009. Although a very rare item and a great opportunity to acquire one, please note that despite the claims on the listing (which we have asked to be removed) the auction is not particularly endorsed by the Register and the Registrar has not seen or inspected the hardtop, nor can he vouch for the vendor. Please use your good common sense in purchasing anything from ebay and inspection is probably a good idea before committing to purchase. Hopefully the purchaser will get in touch with the Register after the auction ends!

***Surviving Sebring GT moulds lost in fire at Fibresports***

A freak fire caused by a stray spark during the manufacturing process is believed to have destroyed all of the historic moulds at Fibresports, which includes all the spridget and spitfire Sebring GT moulds and the original Speedwell Monza mould. This is seriously tragic news and our sympathies go to Steve Foster. This also means that we all need to look after our fronts and hardtops even more carefully now! We hope to have more news on this soon.

Further updates to "Oft Mistaken" Spridgets hardtops and fronts page

We have added details of the Ashley Mk 2 front, StarSprite front, and Works Mk I Midget hardtop for spridgets to the W&P Competitors' page.
