Register cars with Sebring GT Hardtops
Other cars known to the Register
Bob MacGillivray's former sprint midget (shown above) used to be fitted with a Sebring GT hardtop. Note that the front is an Ashley, not a Sebring GT. This car has subsequently passed through Jon Filby's hands and is now in France with an Ashley hardtop fitted to match the Ashley front, which suggests that this Sebring GT hardtop is still within the UK. Any information welcome!
There is a very exciting Sprite with Jensen Healey / Lotus mechanicals under restoration in Scotland which will have an Ashley front and a W&P Sebring GT hardtop (as per the combination shown above), and which will hopefully be added to the Register in due course.
There is a sprint Sprite under construction with a Mk I Sebring front and a Sebring GT hardtop which we hope to welcome to the register on completion in due course. The Sebring GT hardtop on this car came from a well known V8 midget conversion project.
There is a green Lenham-fronted race spridget in the FISC Euro-Tour fitted with a Sebring GT hardtop which we hope to add to the register very shortly.
There are two Sebring GT hardtops with a FISC Euro-Tour racer who will shortly be adding one to his Lenham-fronted race Sprite, and his car will be added to the register in due course.
There is a Sebring GT hardtop about to be fitted to an Ashley fronted project car which we hope to add to the register in due course.
There is a damaged Sebring GT hardtop with twin Bermuda skylights in existence in the Midlands with a spridget racer.
There is at least one Sebring GT hardtop in France. Painted green and photographed on a 1500 midget it was advertised for sale in early 2008 for 2,500 euros, current location unknown.
About 5 years ago, there was also a loose Sebring GT hardtop resident in Ireland which is shown on the historic images page of the Midget and Sprite Club website, but its whereabouts sadly is currently unknown (although from photographic similarities it may be one of the two owned by the racer mentioned above).
